Norton Radstock Town Council was formed in 1974.
The Town Council has a membership of 14 Councillors over four wards; Radstock, Midsomer Norton – North Ward, Midsomer Norton – Redfield Ward and Westfield Ward. Each of the Members represents one of the four wards. Elections for the Town Council are held every four years.
Town Councillors do not receive any payment for being elected Members and offer their time voluntarily for the benefit of the local community.

All Committee Meetings take place on a Monday evening in the Council Chambers, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton, commencing at 7.00 pm.
